Today marked the last day of Sophie Moore’s tenure at Softball ACT, where she occupied dual roles at both a State and National level.
Sophie’s been plugged into Softball ACT as our Association Coordinator, with a broad remit to assist our clubs and associations become more sustainable through member services and growth. Her role included coordination of the ACT’s Sporting Schools program, and being a small office here, also meant that she dipped her toes into communications (Facebook and newsletter), event management and most recently, high performance with coordinating State teams coming to ACT for 15s and Mens Nationals.
At the National level, Soph’s role was that of Sporting Schools Convenor, where she had oversight of Softball Australia’s primary school clinic-based offerings to schools, building it from a small concept, to a fully functioning program that can sustain itself.
Softball ACT staff and Board would like to thank Sophie for being with us over the last 12 months, and wish her the very best in her future success.
