We provide opportunities for boys and girls located in Evatt and the surrounding suburbs (Melba, Flynn, McKellar, Lawson, Kaleen and Giralang) to play softball. We have teams for kids in Primary school from Kindergarten (teeball) through to Year 6 (softball).
We hold our trainings on Thursday afternoons at the Evatt Primary School ovals.
We are a small, family friendly club, that also enjoys to socialise together. Evatt Eagles parents recently played together in the Softball ACT Social 7 mixed competition. We had so much fun we are looking forward to playing in the competition again – no softball experience required!

Shots Up began as a Women’s Masters softball team in 2007, then in 2012 we made our debut in the Saturday Fast Pitch League competition in D grade. The team for the Saturday competition is not a master’s team, but is made up mostly of players from that team. The Shots Up philosophy is based on the mutual enjoyment of softball, and having a good time while playing the game. If you would like more information about Shots Up, check out our website www.shotsup.org.au or flick us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to hearing from you.
Established in 1979 the Sutherland Softball Club covers the South Canberra, Woden, Weston Creek, Molonglo and north Tuggeranong areas. It provides playing opportunities for everyone – boys, girls, men and women of all ages and skill levels. Our teams play in four competitions – Saturday morning junior competition (diamond ball, T-ball and softball) at Mawson Playing Fields, the FPSL Boys U15 Fastpitch league, the Saturday Afternoon Fastpitch League at Hawker Softball Complex and mid-week mixed slow pitch competition at Hawker. The competitions run from early October to March with a break during the Christmas school holidays. More information can be found on the club’s website at www.sutherlandact.softball.org.au or contact Alan Bain on 0411 674 355.
The Yarralumla Primary School has been enthusiastically involved in teeball and softball at Mawson since 2011, and had two teeball teams and three softball teams in the 2015-2016 summer Saturday morning competition. Although players mostly attend the school, the YPS Softball Club happily accepts children from other south Canberra schools, provided the children can attend the once a week after school practice.
