The Canberra Pride Program is all about providing a safe, enjoyable, inclusive environment that maximises participation. We acknowledge that a positive experience in junior participation will contribute to your child developing a lifelong love of sport.

The programs objective is to:

• Provide a safe, healthy and friendly sporting environment that encourages personal achievement and develops self-esteem and confidence
• Improve personal fitness and develop games skills
• Enable children to participate in sport, regardless of ability, within age restrictions
• Encourage cooperation through the development of team skills
• Provide the opportunity to learn appropriate sporting behaviour

Payment
The cost of the training program is $50* per athlete - this covers training equipment, venue hire and adminstration.

*If you are not currently registered with an ACT Softball Club, then there will be an additional registration charge (also includes all fees and credit card charges).

As a member of the Canberra Pride program, each player will be bound by the Players Oath:

• I understand that I am bound by Softball ACT's and Canberra Prides Policy and Code of Conduct.
• I understand that if I am register to be in the Canberra Pride Training Academy, I will be required to attend mandatory sessions, including training, education and information sessions.
• I understand that all Canberra Pride Training Academy participants 

Please note that Softball ACT requires athletes to adhere to all items above to participate in the Canberra Pride Training Academy. 
Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in removal from the program and/or judicial action, pending offence.
