ACT Diamonds take on New Zealand and NSW in Tri Series

Softball ACT would like to thank Softball NSW and Blacktown International Sportspark Sydney for hosting the recent Women’s Tri Series over the past weekend.

The ACT Diamonds took part in preparation for the upcoming 2023 Open Women’s National Championships that get underway in South Australia on the 2nd of January 2023.

Softball ACT would also like to offer a huge thanks to the New Zealand White Sox for making the journey and being part of our preparations for the 75th Gilley’s Shield, and to Softball NSW’s High Performance and Pathways Coordinator, Mohi Rameka.

The Diamonds took the final win of the series in a real nail biter, making three double plays and scoring two home runs to take a well-earned 5-4 win – a great way to finish the series and take the momentum into the Gilley’s Shield in 12 days’ time.
