Softball ACT, are pleased to announce that the Australia Day carnival is back for 2022.

Our carnival will be held at Hawker International Softball Centre from Saturday 22^nd – Monday 24^th January 2022. 

With the continued uncertainty, Softball ACT are working on being able to host this event with interstate teams for the first time in 2 years.

To assist with event planning, we kindly ask that each team complete an Expression of Interest (EOI) for the upcoming Australia Day carnival. There is no financial obligation to completing the EOI, but it does register your intent to participate in the carnival.

Australia Day Carnival - Expression of Interest

EOI and team registrations will be organised solely through Softball Australia’s new CRM - RevSport. After the team RSVP has been captured, more communication will be sent from Softball ACT office. This will include:

• Team registration fee and payment options
• Registration link for each team member

All team members must be registered with Softball Australia to participate in the Australia Day Carnival.

Entry to the carnival is

• $475 for each U10s Teeball team (Boys, Girls and mixed*)
• $575 for each team in the below divisions:

• U12s Softball - Boys and Girls
• U14s Softball - Boys and Girls
• U16s Softball - Boys and Girls
• U18s Softball - Boys and Girls

*Mixed Teeball teams will be entered into the competition with the majority gender. (e.g only 2 boys to make up the team, then this team will be in the girl’s competition).

Each team MUST supply an umpire that is nationally accredited:

• U10 Teeball – Level 1 (with Teeball experience)
• U12-U14 Softball – Level 1 minimum
• U16-U18 Softball – Level 2 minimum

Teams are encouraged to bring a second nationally accredited umpire, which will provide a refund to your team of $200 post-tournament. All umpires are expected to be available for the entire tournament.

Tournament registration will close on 23^rd December 2021.
