On Saturday, March 25th, the 2022/23 Junior Softball Season came to a thrilling end as the finals and grand finals concluded another summer season at the Hawker International Softball Centre.

This season we had 29 teams across five tee-ball and softball divisions.

Here are the results for the competitive division grand finals:

• U12s – Storm Surge 14 vs 8 Hurricanes Comets
• Highschool Division 2 – Boomerangs 5 vs 16 Storm Voltage
• Highschool Division 1 – Wildcats Jaguars 13 vs 9 Hurricanes Black Hawks

Softball ACT also awarded our two junior sportsmanship awards over the weekend.

Congratulations to Jake Slater for receiving the Kathy Pryce Sportsmanship Award and to Rafael Castro for receiving the Mon Pearson Sportsmanship Award. 

Well done Jake and Rafael, very well deserved.

Great big thank you to our Junior Competition Coordinator, Deb Sayers, for all her hard work and volunteer hours she put in to help run the competition smoothly.
